I so enjoyed charming Cogne — the town has a warmth you’ll enjoy and respond to…… You’re right at the Gran Paradiso National Park where you can see beautiful animals (ibex, birds, chamois, etc.) waterfalls, meadows, flowers, spectacular vistas — nature at it’s best (and it’s free). It’s picture-book beautiful here. The Giardino Alpino Paradisia/Alpine Botanical Gardens are interesting and lovely. A walk through town is always a pleasure — browse, shop, take a break — there’s really something for everyone no matter the time of year.
